Kokkedal Slot Copenhagen is an exclusive castle hotel, built on traditional values of hospitality, hosting and quality.
We are looking for a committed nightwatch who will help ensure that the castle appears inviting, well-organized and ready for the day’s guests and events. You will have an important role in creating a safe environment at night and ensuring that both outdoor and indoor areas are prepared for the next day’s activities.
You will be part of a close collaboration with the Reception, Bell Captain, Restaurant and Housekeeping team, where the common goal is to create the best possible experience for our guests.
Your primary tasks
- Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs
- Prepare and set up meeting and party rooms, if necessary
- Help clean up after various events
- Ensure that public areas, terraces and outdoor areas appear presentable and inviting
- Set up and prepare for the next day’s events
- Light cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Act as a door/security guard at events
- Conduct security rounds at the castle and contribute to a safe environment for guests and colleagues
- Handle guest-related inquiries during the night
We expect you to
- Have experience from service, caretaker, hotel or similar positions
- Thrive on responsibility and can work both as part of a team but also independently at night
- Is stable in meetings, structured and solution-oriented
- Has an eye for order, details and presentation
- Is welcoming and passionate about creating good guest experiences
- Appears presentable and trustworthy
- Speaks fluent English – an advantage if you speak Danish
- Willing to work weekends and holidays
