St. Martin's Eve (Mortensaften)

November 10th – 2021: Mortensaften

As per tradition, Saint Martin’s Day is celebrated on November 10th in a long line of countries, mostly as a harvest festival.
In Denmark, we still mark the occasion with a dinner of goose or duck on the preceding evening, known as Mortensaften (St. Martin’s Eve).
