Your weddingat the castle. A ceremony in the park, dinner beneath the chandeliers and dancing in Berckentin. We will discuss the day with you, from flowers and welcome drinks to accommodation.
Tell us your preferred date and number of guests. You are also welcome to arrange a viewing first.

Enquiries and reservations
When you contact us, we use your name, email and the details you provide to respond and arrange your requested visit. Phone number, date and guest count are optional in the enquiry form. Name, email and a message are required to submit it. An enquiry is not a confirmed reservation. Please omit national identification numbers and sensitive information.
Processing is necessary to take steps towards or fulfil an agreement (Article 6(1)(b)), or based on our legitimate interest in responding to other enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Guest correspondence is retained for up to two years after contact ends.
Newsletter
Subscription is voluntary and requires separate consent to news and offers by email (Article 6(1)(a)). Your email and consent are sent to Mailchimp when you subscribe. This website’s form does not load Mailchimp scripts. Unsubscribe using the newsletter link or contact us; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Newsletter data is deleted within 30 days of unsubscribing.

Analytics and browser storage
Fonts and images are loaded locally. The welcome animation and campaign display do not save their display state in your browser. We use Plausible for visitor statistics on the website’s production domain. According to Plausible, its standard analytics use neither cookies nor persistent visitor identifiers. Our integration does not send form contents to analytics.

Operations, security and external services
The webhost processes technical requests and may record IP addresses and security logs. The form backend’s abuse protection uses expiring derived IP keys and submission references, not message text or CVs in those tables. These records expire after 24 hours; cleanup runs on subsequent valid form submissions. Received emails follow separate retention procedures.
Reservations are handled through BookVisit, gift vouchers through LifePeaks and Lost & Found through Foundit. Dining Week tickets are purchased from Dining Week. Social media open as external links. When you move to another service, its data and cookie information also applies. We use providers for hosting, email, bookings and newsletters. Google, Meta and Mailchimp may process data outside the EU/EEA, including in the USA. The hotel’s supplier arrangements include relevant data processing agreements and EU standard contractual clauses for third-country transfers. Contact us for more information about recipients and transfer safeguards.
Google, Meta and your cookie choices
Accepting analytics loads Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to measure page views and clicks through to booking. Accepting marketing loads the hotel’s Meta Pixel to measure Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta may receive page views, the page URL and technical browser information and use cookies to associate the visit with advertising activity. Our integration does not enable automatic form-field collection. Google Ads is not enabled. Measurement runs only on the website’s production domain. Reject both or change your choice through Cookie settings. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Withdrawal stops future loading after a reload; it does not erase previously collected information.
