Getting here
The castle is near Hørsholm, north of Copenhagen. The Øresund is around a 12-minute walk from the castle through the woods.

From Copenhagen, follow the E47 towards Helsingør and take the Kokkedal exit. Continue via Fredensborg Kongevej, Usserød Kongevej and Ådalsvej to Kokkedal Allé. Enter Kokkedal Allé 6, 2970 Hørsholm in your navigation.
Travel to Kokkedal Station. From the north end of the platform, walk along Jellerødgårdsvej and then Lågegyde. After about 200 metres, turn left onto Kokkedal Allé. The castle is approximately 700 metres further on. Check a journey planner for current connections.
A taxi from Copenhagen Airport typically takes around 45-50 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the taxi company for the current fare. Car rental is also available at the airport. The coastal road via Rungsted Harbour offers a scenic route from Copenhagen.
We can help arrange private transfers between the airport and the castle. Contact Reception in advance for prices and options.
